Gordon Feinblatt is seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal in our Trusts & Estates Practice Group.
The candidate will have an undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the administration of large and complex estates, and all types of trusts.
Estate Administration Duties:
- Handle all aspects of the probate process
- Prepare federal and state estate tax returns
- Run various tax projections
- Coordinate the preparation of all appraisals and income tax returns (individual and fiduciary)
Trust Administration Duties:
- Handle all aspects of trust administration
- Prepare fiduciary accountings
- Distribute to beneficiaries
- Conduct tax planning
- Coordinate fiduciary income tax return preparation
Key requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with significant client interaction
- Ability to manage a fast-paced workload effectively and efficiently
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe
- Willingness to learn various software programs designed for the trusts and estates practice area
